Mr. Stone is very thin. He works completely on his own now. He hardly goes home any more but sleeps here instead as well. He always smells of alcohol. Mr. Stone took over from Mr. Werner. Everyone who used to work here looked as ill as he does. They were all friendly people. The person who was boss before Mr. Werner died of cancer. Mr. Werner had allergies and had a puffy look about him. Mr. Werners employees were ill as well. Twenty years ago there were 18 people still employed here. |
